Sweet and salty in just the right measure, it recalls the caramel sweets of times gone by. The flor de sal comes from the Salinas de Rio Maior, the inland salt pans that give the Ribatejo a piece of the sea. A flavour exclusive to B.LÊM. In 100 ml to taste, 200 ml to share and 700 ml for the table or as a gift.

Where it comes from

From the Salinas de Rio Maior, where salt water from an underground spring is evaporated in the sun, as it has been for centuries.

Tasting notes

Toasted caramel, a milky creaminess and a lightly salted finish.

How to serve

Chilled, on its own, over ice cream or alongside a chocolate dessert.

To taste, to share, for the table.

The same recipe in every bottle. Choose the size that suits the moment.

Between sweet and salt

Between sweet and salt

Sweet caramel with a salty touch, like the salt pans found along Portugal’s coast and inland.

What our customers say

How to drink a B.LÊM

  1. Well chilled

Keep the bottle in the fridge and serve it cold. Creams gain texture, ginja gains freshness.

  2. In a small glass

A small glass or a chocolate cup. A little, full of flavour, as tradition has it.

  3. At the end of the meal

With coffee, with dessert or on its own, in good company. That is how a Portuguese meal ends.
