This is our Ex Libris. Creamy and aromatic, it comes from Belém’s most famous recipe: the cream, lemon and cinnamon that have scented Lisbon’s pastry shops since the 19th century. Every sip is a little taste of Portugal. In 100 ml to taste, 200 ml to share and 700 ml for the table or as a gift.

Where it comes from

From Belém, in Lisbon, where the brand was born on the banks of the Tagus, beside the Tower that appears in our logo.

Tasting notes

Sweet custard cream, a citrus touch of lemon and cinnamon on the finish.

How to serve

Chilled, in a small glass, alongside coffee or dessert. Also delicious poured over vanilla ice cream.

To taste, to share, for the table.

The same recipe in every bottle. Choose the size that suits the moment.

Belém, Lisbon

Inspired by Belém’s most famous sweet, the custard tart, born in the 19th century next to the Jerónimos Monastery. Belém Tower is in our logo.

What our customers say

How to drink a B.LÊM

  1. Well chilled

Keep the bottle in the fridge and serve it cold. Creams gain texture, ginja gains freshness.

  2. In a small glass

A small glass or a chocolate cup. A little, full of flavour, as tradition has it.

  3. At the end of the meal

With coffee, with dessert or on its own, in good company. That is how a Portuguese meal ends.
